About Us

About Us: Greenwood Village Developmental Disability Therapy

Our Journey Begins (2010)

Greenwood Village Developmental Disability Therapy was founded in 2010 with a vision to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through comprehensive, accessible, and compassionate therapy services. Our journey started as a small initiative by a dedicated team of therapists who recognized the gap in resources available for this unique community.

Milestones and Growth

Over the years, we’ve celebrated numerous milestones:

  • 2012: Expanded our services to include a supportive living program, providing a home-like environment for those in need.
  • 2015: Launched an online resource center, offering valuable articles and guides on various developmental disability topics.
  • 2017: Achieved accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), ensuring our services meet the highest industry standards.
  • 2019: Implemented a user-friendly website redesign, making our resources more accessible to a global audience.

Our Purpose and Values

At Greenwood Village, we believe in fostering an inclusive environment where every individual with developmental disabilities can thrive. Our purpose is to bridge the gap between therapy and daily life, offering practical solutions and support tailored to each person’s unique needs. We uphold the following core values:

  • Accessibility: Ensuring our services are available to all, regardless of geographical location or financial status.
  • Empowerment: Enabling individuals to take control of their development and reach their full potential.
  • Compassion: Providing non-judgmental support with kindness and understanding.
  • Expertise: Maintaining a high level of knowledge and skill in our field through continuous training and education.

Filling the Information Void

The internet is a powerful tool, yet we identified a critical information gap regarding developmental disabilities. Many resources available online are either overly technical or lack depth, leaving individuals and families feeling uninformed and unsupported. Greenwood Village aims to bridge this gap by offering reliable, easy-to-understand information that empowers users to make informed decisions about their therapy options.

Unbiased and Accurate Information

We take great pride in our commitment to providing unbiased and accurate content. Our team thoroughly researches and verifies every fact presented on our website. We encourage input from experts and rely on peer-reviewed studies to ensure the information we share is current and reliable. Transparency is at the heart of our content creation process, allowing readers to trust the sources and make confident choices.

Our target audience includes:

  • Families and caregivers looking for resources to enhance their loved ones’ lives.
